Officially I’m a neuroscientist with a PhD dealing with brains and numbers and data. Off the record, I am an aspiring illustrator, who comes to life every time there’s a pencil or a brush in sight. So I’m like a two-sided coin (do one-sided coins exist?), trying to merge both sides together…interested in how art and creativity emerge from the brain, and interested how to visually illustrate the brain and inner psychological landscape.
Aaaaand there’s the third side of the coin: I am a mother to a very lively boy, which adds an awesomely new perspective to everything. Buying piles of children picture books has been finally justified.
